Hiyoku Tori no
比 の 翼 鳥: A warrior who is on the way to the battlefield was lost in the mountains. There he discovers a pair of cranes, one of which is killed by him in a sort of jealousy attack for not having the person who loves to side. Later, a mysterious spirit helped back to safety.

As indicated by the sleeve clamp is an attempt to return to the traditional Japanese narrative. And I think that intent is a bit derogatory, as the picture on the sleeve retains the characteristic touch of Clamp (for example, in the eyes and face, his style is very noticeable) but known to include the old masterly style Ukiyo-e. Despite being a very short manga ( only 132 pages of story), I consider my favorite Clamp (so far). The drawing style is very wise, very ad hoc kind of history he is narrating (a story of Japanese mythology and folklore.) And what about the stories.
