Hiyoku Tori no

Edition This edition is provided by Tokyopop. Is a typical issue of the editorial, the paper used the conventional (a paperback) and smooth. The first pages are color, which are also printed on different paper (a little harder). The design of the cover and the cover is very simple, true to the beautiful art contained within.









Art

As indicated by the sleeve clamp is an attempt to return to the traditional Japanese narrative. And I think that intent is a bit derogatory, as the picture on the sleeve retains the characteristic touch of Clamp (for example, in the eyes and face, his style is very noticeable) but known to include the old masterly style Ukiyo-e. Landscapes are painted as if they were watercolors, which adds a very traditional and, frankly, beautiful (I like very much the pictures of Ukiyo-e). personal opinion and conclusion
Despite being a very short manga ( only 132 pages of story), I consider my favorite Clamp (so far). The drawing style is very wise, very ad hoc kind of history he is narrating (a story of Japanese mythology and folklore.) And what about the stories. The manga states that are 5 short stories, but the fifth is a continuation of the first. Notably qu
